Consultant I, Project Manager, Healthcare Quality and Value

Avalere Health is seeking a Consultant I with experience in project management within healthcare research, operations, or consulting to join our Evidence & Strategy practice.

Avalere’s Evidence & Strategy practice provides exceptional consultation, evidence, and insights on key aspects of healthcare – including patient-centric health economics outcomes research (HEOR), quality, shared decision-making, value-based care, and health equity–and to shape strategy for our clients.

Our mission is to improve quality of care, craft data-driven strategies, drive patient-centric outcomes, and ultimately provide the highest value to all our partners, including life sciences companies, payers, providers, and patient advocates. Our work is focused in three intersecting strategic pillars: patient-centric value, evidence and analytics, and healthcare strategy. Underlying all work is a deep commitment to data-driven insights.

The Consultant I, Project Manager, Healthcare Quality and Value, will support client engagements that inform business and evidence strategy related to patient-centric value, collection of patient insights from surveys, evidence strategy, and the development and testing of shared decision-making and other clinical tools.

The ideal candidate would have working knowledge of federal quality reporting programs, designing and implementing real-world evidence studies, translating clinical and practice guidelines, or communicating value for life sciences products, especially how value is defined from all perspectives, including patients and caregivers. They will also have had experience with conducting qualitative research with patients, caregivers, or providers and/or quantitative research.

  • Draft both strategic and tactical recommendations for clients, depending on their business needs
  • Manage multiple clients and short- and long-term deliverables to ensure that Avalere’s knowledge and expertise are available to meet client needs
