Ayousha Acharya focuses on project management across a portfolio of projects.
She works closely with internal and external clients by supporting execution of all aspects of the project lifecycle.
Prior to joining Avalere, Ayousha worked as a program officer at the Nepal Public Health Foundation. Her role involved providing technical assistance to improve access and service provisions for maternal, neonatal, and children’s health, as well as nutrition and hygiene services in earthquake-affected districts in rural Nepal. She also completed various internship positions, including an internship with the Ethiopian Public Health Institute. There, she prepared annual plans, developed project calendars, and maintained timelines for a nutrition and WaSH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) project to address issues related to malnutrition and infant mortality in Ethiopia. Ayousha has expertise in global public health and maternal and child nutrition.
Ayousha has a Master of Public Health with a concentration in global health and nutrition from the University of Michigan. She also earned an undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India.
