Gerald Thompson is the senior manager for Sales Operations at Avalere.
He drives the Proposal Center of Excellence engagement throughout the company. The Proposal CoE provides leadership, best practices, research, support, training, and proposal management for Statements of Work and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
Prior to joining Avalere, he was senior proposal manager at Inovalon Inc., working closely with business development leadership to develop, articulate, and manage high-value proposal solutions. Before working at Inovalon, Gerald was the senior manager for Proposal Operations at Blackboard Inc., a leading education technology company. He led an international team of bid opportunity identification, RFP content management, desktop publishing, and production personnel. Prior to that, he enjoyed a successful career in the financial services sector. At Ernst & Young LLP Creative Services Group, he was the team lead for the Mid-Atlantic offices.
Gerald studied behavioral sciences at Andrews University.
