Kris Norris provides SAS programming support for a growing data-analytic portfolio, including DataFrame™, our proprietary database of Medicare Part D plan features.

He performs analysis on Medicare policy changes and health reform proposals in a variety of settings, including inpatient, skilled nursing facility, hospice, and home health. He also models the financial impact of Medicare payment policies and health reform proposals and analyzes prescription data in support of drug adherence studies.

Prior to joining Avalere, Kris was a SAS programming team manager at Lockheed Martin Federal Healthcare. Kris previously worked as an independent consultant for healthcare and research organizations, mortgage and commercial banking industries, and the federal government.

Kris has 20 years of experience with SAS and other software packages. Kris was trained as a programmer while serving in the Marine Corps and has had further professional training throughout his career, including more than a dozen courses with the SAS Institute. He is SAS-certified.
