Krysten Thomas supports clients with research and analysis spanning a variety of healthcare sectors and stakeholders.
She has expertise in social and behavioral sciences, reproductive health, and maternal health.
Prior to joining Avalere, Krysten was a health and judiciary legislative staffer in the United States Senate for Senator Claire McCaskill of Missouri, and she worked in the Government Affairs Department of Novo Nordisk, Inc. She previously conducted research for the World Health Organization’s Department of Reproductive Health and Research and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, Inc. She also conducted research for the Center for Reproductive Rights through the Yale University Global Health Justice Partnership and served as the reproductive health director of the Yale University HAVEN Free Clinic.
Krysten earned an M.P.H. in social and behavioral sciences with thesis honors from Yale University and a B.A. from Wesleyan University in government, sociology, and international relations. She is currently a J.D. candidate at Georgetown University.
