Laurie Gavitt-Smith leads the Marketing and Brand team to promote Avalere's advisory services and products.
She combines her discipline in strategic planning, market research, advanced analytics, predictive marketing, and creative direction as well as her experience managing award-winning advertising campaigns to engage pharmaceutical, device, provider, and health plan senior leaders and executives.
Prior to joining Avalere, Laurie was vice president of Global Marketing for Nasdaq, leading a multi-disciplinary team spanning continents. Working for Nasdaq most of her 25-year career, Laurie understands how to transform and position a highly regulated US company into a global brand with multiple business lines offering diverse technology products and business services.
Laurie has an MA from George Mason University and a BA from the Pennsylvania State University. An active volunteer with Junior Achievement, she teaches financial literacy to middle school students.
