
Malcolm Baytop provides a range of clients with health policy analysis and research services.
Before joining Avalere, Malcolm worked as a research and advocacy fellow at the College of William and Mary’s Global Research Institute, where he curated policy recommendations addressing the unique social and healthcare challenges faced by LGBTQ+ Ukrainian refugees. He co-founded the Way Forward, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to reimagining public safety practices through a psychosocial health lens. Malcolm’s nonprofit experience also includes research on global health and food insecurity issues in Guatemala.
Malcolm holds a BA in public policy and psychology and is pursuing a Master of Public Policy from the College of William and Mary.
