She applies her background in health research and analysis to a broad range of client products.

Prior to joining Avalere, Merrill was a teaching fellow for US Health Policy at the College of William & Mary. Prior to that, she was a research assistant on the Tracking Under-reported Financial Flows team at the Global Research Institute, where she used a novel method of data collection to contribute to an international aid finance database.

Merrill has a BS from the College of William & Mary.
