Mugdha Samant draws on her expertise in oncology, pharmacology, and stem cell biology to support clients navigating the regulatory strategy and FDA policy environment.
With scientific experience in oncology and cell therapy, she provides research analysis and strategy consulting for life sciences clients. Prior to joining Avalere, Mugdha was a postdoctoral visiting fellow at the National Eye Institute where she led and managed translational medicine projects revolving around human retinal diseases and also executed projects involving pluripotent and human embryonic stem cells. Prior to that, as a Graduate Research Associate at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, she designed and executed projects involving cancer pharmacology and stem cell biology. Additionally, she has experience as a Product Executive, developing marketing materials and presentations for the promotion of a TB blood test in the Indian market.
Mugdha has a PhD in molecular pharmacology from the State University of New York at Buffalo, an MSC in cancer cell and molecular biology from University of Leicester, UK, and a bachelors in microbiology from Mumbai University.
