Natalie Smith

Natalie Smith supports clients in market access, product commercialization, and reimbursement strategy.

She applies her experience in healthcare policy development and analysis to help clients successfully navigate complex market dynamics.

Prior to joining Avalere, Natalie was a manager of government business and policy at DaVita Integrated Kidney Care. During her time, she worked with DaVita’s Government Affairs team and clinical leadership to advance health outcomes and value-based care programs for patients with kidney disease. She was responsible for guiding strategic decision making related to Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation demonstration models, Medicare policy and payment changes, and regulatory reform.

Natalie holds a MSPH in health policy from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BS in public health from Tulane University.
