Yonatan Mengesha

Yonatan uses data driven research and analysis to support clients spanning a variety of healthcare sectors.

He applies an analytical and management health background to a broad range of clients.

Prior to working at Avalere, Yonatan worked at Privia Health as a health information management coordinator. Yonatan was responsible for processing medical record requests for quality assurance measures such as HEDIS and risk adjustment. He prepared training materials for care center education and worked along-side third parties to assist in record requests. Yonatan also worked as a patient care technician at Washington Adventist Hospital in the cardiovascular unit where he worked directly with patients and clinicians to provide quality care.

Yonatan has a BS in biology and is pursuing a MS in Healthcare Informatics Administration.
