Scott Peterson Joins Avalere as Vice President of Data Architecture

He will lead efforts focused on bringing the power of big data, real time analytics, and technology solutions to a diverse healthcare client base. Recent examples of Avalere and Inovalon’s data driven technology platforms include post-acute care optimization and outcomes-based contracting for pharmaceutical manufacturers and health plans.

At the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Peterson was responsible for leading all aspects of information technology including architecting and implementing complex data infrastructure, interoperable systems, and applications driving healthcare operations, the Medicaid Management Information System, and Minnesota’s health insurance exchange.

“Scott brings a wealth of experience in developing top-tier technology solutions for some of the most challenging healthcare issues,” said April Todd, senior vice president at Avalere Health. “His leadership and expertise will play a critical role in supporting our clients as they look to incorporate new platforms to support their business needs.”
