We look for interns who want to bridge the gap between higher education and practical experience by offering flexible programs that range from 10–12-week summer programs to full-semester programs. Assigned to a Practice area, you will gain exposure to a variety of client work. Collaboration is our signature, which ensures that you get to work with all levels of Avalere professionals. Surrounded by subject matter experts across all healthcare sectors, you will benefit daily from their deep knowledge and experience. Our internship opportunities are as varied as our business, and allow a student to better understand the breadth of Avalere’s work.

Our 6-month Associate Immersion Program gives you the opportunity to discover your interests through substantive, rigorous work combined with content training, mentors, and career guidance from many colleagues with varying backgrounds. While solving problems on a challenging project, you’ll be honing your research, writing, and project management skills. After your 6 months are up, together, we determine a career path for you to specialize and grow.

FDA Fellowship Program
Avalere’s FDA Fellowship Program invites applications from advanced-degree professionals who have strong backgrounds in science and technology and are looking to transition their scientific background into the policy environment. Small and highly selective, our FDA Fellows spend 6 months immersed in healthcare regulatory policy and strategy issues. In this full-time, paid fellowship, you will collaborate with experts across a wide range of projects related to product development and approval. You will also have the opportunity to work across Avalere practices to support our pharmaceutical, biotech, and device clients.
