Avalere Health welcomes Jessica Alessio as an associate principal to its Market Access practice. She will support Avalere’s life sciences clients in navigating the evolving healthcare landscape through analysis and expertise in revenue cycle management and Medicare reimbursement.

About Jessica Alessio

Jessica focuses on supporting clients with data-driven analyses and innovative ideas, utilizing her knowledge of physician buy and bill and end-to-end pharmacy revenue cycle functions. Prior to Avalere, Jessica served on the US Market Access–Channel Patient Access Support Services team at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS). She assisted providers in gaining and maintaining access to BMS products through field reimbursement education and helping patients to overcome financial barriers. Before that, Jessica led the central business office reimbursement department at AmerisourceBergen’s US Bioservices where she provided implementation leadership over their conversion to ScriptMed pharmacy operating system. In addition, Jessica has therapeutic proficiencies in oncology, rheumatology, organ transplant, hepatitis c, IgG, and rare and orphan indications.

Jessica is a certified professional biller and earned a BS in biology from the University of North Texas.
