Cameron Pettinato
Associate
Cameron Pettinato provides project support, client engagement, and content development across a wide range of healthcare initiatives.
Recently, Cameron has contributed to impactful projects in vaccine policy, value strategy, and client advisory services. He has supported evidence-to-recommendation workshops, developed a white paper on vaccine delivery modalities, and analyzed Medicare and Medicaid vaccine coverage and reimbursement strategies. Cameron has also played a key role in crafting policy briefs and guides to support stakeholders in navigating vaccine-related challenges and advancing public health priorities.
Before joining Avalere, Cameron served as a summer associate in the Global Scientific Affairs division at Pfizer, where he investigated gaps in global detection and surveillance of meningococcal disease. His work involved conducting literature reviews, reviewing case definitions, and collaborating with scientific congresses and international health organizations to strengthen vaccine strategies. Additionally, as a Research Associate at Boston University, Cameron analyzed barriers to pre-exposure prophylaxis adherence for HIV prevention and explored access challenges among target populations.
Cameron holds an MPH with dual certificates in epidemiology and biostatistics and health policy and law from Boston University, as well as a BS in public health from Temple University, where he graduated from the honors program.
