Shayna Adams

Shayna Adams applies research, public health, and program management skills to provide in-depth analysis and evidence-based solutions to a wide range of healthcare industry clients.

Before joining Avalere, Shayna worked at STATinMED, where she analyzed real-world evidence provided data insights and advisory services assessing value for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. She also co-authored several scientific publications for conferences and peer-reviewed journals. Previously, she worked for a nonprofit organization managing a grants program focused on addiction research and led associated educational outreach efforts. She has also worked as a research assistant for the Framingham Heart Study within the neuropsychological unit and was first author on a publication evaluating cardiovascular health risk burden and new-onset depression.

Shayna holds an MPH in epidemiology from Boston University and BS in human biology, with a minor in psychology, from the University at Albany.
