Claire Sheahan Joins Avalere Health as Senior VP and Head of Avalere Communications

She will join the company in January 2015.
Sheahan has the diverse agency-based experience needed to lead Avalere’s client communications offerings. For 6 years, Sheahan grew and then led the Fleishman Hillard healthcare practice in Washington DC, serving clients in the pharmaceutical, payer, device, non-profit, and government sectors. She also brings specific experience in managed care (serving as a public affairs manager at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association) and generics (leading communications at the Generic Pharmaceutical Association).
