The June 2019 Value in Health supplement on “New Approaches to Value Assessment: Towards More Informed Pricing in Healthcare” includes an article, “Current Value Frameworks—What’s New?,” co-authored by Josh Seidman, managing director at Avalere. In the paper, Seidman explains Avalere’s patient-oriented approach to value assessment, incorporation of real-world evidence, and embedding of patient preferences that derives from the Patient-Perspective Value Framework Initiative.
