Avalere Health welcomes Ryan Urgo as Managing Director, Health Policy. He adds new perspectives on translating changes in the health policy environment into actionable strategic insights.

About Ryan Urgo

Ryan Urgo joins Avalere as Managing Director, Health Policy.  He brings extensive experience in drug pricing policy, Medicare Part D, the Affordable Care Act, employer markets, insurance coverage, and delivery system reform.  Before joining Avalere, Ryan worked at Eli Lilly for 18 years, most recently serving as a policy and strategy leader with deep experience in public policy formation, strategic planning, and external engagement with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as well as insurers, hospitals, and health systems. “I am excited to join Avalere’s first-rate Policy team and help clients navigate the ever-changing, complex legislative and regulatory policy environment,” said Ryan Urgo.

Ryan holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Master of Public Affairs and Politics from Rutgers University.
