Prior to joining Avalere, Fred was a principal in the Accountable Care Solutions practice at The Chartis Group where he guided provider organizations through the transition to value-based care. In this role, he supported the development of the firm’s suite of services for health systems engaged in Medicare and Medicaid payment and delivery system transformation initiatives.

Previously, Fred was a managing director in The Advisory Board Company’s Research and Insights division where he managed a team of consultants and analysts responsible for providing research, analytics, and technical support to more than 150 provider organizations ranging from physician groups to post-acute care providers. He also advised Pioneer and Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organizations and supported the creation of population health management programs.
