Ethan Hall advises life sciences clients on evidence generation, commercialization strategies, market access, and the implications of policy developments.
Prior to joining Avalere, Ethan was a senior manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific supporting large partnerships with leading in-vitro diagnostic manufacturers. Ethan led design transfer, licensing, channel strategy, and R&D support as part of a contract development and manufacturing business. Ethan joined Thermo Fisher through their post-MBA general management graduate leadership development program and gained significant experience in product development, marketing, corporate strategy and M&A diligence.
During his graduate studies, Ethan completed internships with Highmark Health’s corporate strategy team and provided economic incentive models and diligence support for Aspire Health prior to the company’s acquisition by Anthem. He held a fellowship with Vanderbilt University’s Center for Healthcare Market Innovation (CHCMI), supporting economic research in patient consumer behavior in the retail setting, payment reform, and alternative care models.
During his time with Surescripts, Ethan gained exposure to the retail, clinical, and specialty pharmacy space, launching healthcare I.T. platforms to support providers’ management of patient medications. Ethan began his career at The Advisory Board Company and gained experience in healthcare information technology, hospital operations, and supply chain functions.
Ethan holds a BA from Gettysburg College, an MBA from Vanderbilt University, and graduate certificates in Digital Marketing and Data Science Commercialization from the University of California at Irvine
