Shivani Patel

Research Scientist II

Shivani Patel uses her clinical expertise as a pharmacist to support clients with research and analysis that span a variety of healthcare sectors and stakeholders.

Her focus includes clinical compendia, clinical pathways for oncology, Food & Drug Administration regulatory policies, and competitive intelligence for pharma and biotech companies.  

Prior to joining Avalere, Shivani worked for Leading Pharma, where she facilitated research and the development of generic drugs by identifying the most appropriate methods for generating evidence needed to support Abbreviated New Drug Application approval. Additionally, she has experience working in retail pharmacies, where she educated patients on medication use and various disease states such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.  

Shivani earned a PharmD and a BS in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
