Zhou Yang supports life sciences and health benefit carrier clients in understanding federal entitlement health policies and the implications of changes in the financial structure of these programs for healthcare utilization and population health.
In recent projects, Zhou has helped life sciences manufacturers understand the financial and market access implications of the Inflation Reduction Act.
Before joining Avalere, Zhou led health economic and health policy research for Omada Health, Humana, the World Bank, the American Board of Family Medicine, and Emory University. She has authored more than 40 research papers and opinion pieces for peer-reviewed journals and has been cited widely by major media.
Zhou holds a PhD in health policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MPH in health services from the University of California, Los Angeles.
