Two new additions expand expertise in drug pricing, payer engagement, CMS coverage and payment, and strategic market access and commercialization.

Avalere Health welcomes Shalini Parekh and Nathan Budischak as principals in its Market Access practice. They will support Avalere’s clients in navigating the evolving healthcare landscape and positioning of market strategy

“Shalini and Nathan are welcome additions to the Market Access practice, which supports life sciences clients across the product life cycle,” said Lance Grady, Market Access Practice Director at Avalere Health. “Our clients will benefit from their robust expertise with issues related to commercialization, product pricing, and reimbursement and access strategy.”

About Shalini Parekh

Shalini Parkekh joins Avalere as a principal. She has deep expertise in analyzing the impact of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) alternative payment models and other federal programs. Before joining Avalere, Shalini was a vice president at The Lewin Group where she managed the quantitative evaluation of the CMS’s Oncology Care Model (OCM) and led a team that assessed the impact of OCM practice transformation requirements and financial incentives on claims-based payment, utilization, and quality of care outcome measures.
