Alexandria Pinckney supports client research and analysis that span a variety of healthcare sectors and stakeholders.

She applies her background in federal and state government to a broad range of client projects.

Before joining Avalere, Alexandria interned with the Office of Management and Budget in their Health Division working on budgeting and rulemaking for the 2020 No Surprises Act (NSA). She was responsible for tracking NSA rule changes and monitoring spending across the federal agencies and departments responsible for the law’s implementation. Additionally, she developed and presented strategies to increase compliance with the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act from private insurers.

Alexandria has a BS in political science from the University of Georgia and a MPP from the University of Virginia.
