Saran Traore

Saran Traore partners with pharmaceutical companies to develop market access and patient support strategies.

Saran has extensive therapeutic experience in oncology, respiratory biologics, rare diseases, and infectious diseases. She applies her background in coverage, reimbursement, and patient experience to a broad range of client projects.

Prior to joining Avalere, Saran was a strategic alignment leader at AstraZeneca within the Market Access department, supporting long-range planning of access and reimbursement programs optimization, field reimbursement development, and reimbursement education strategies across matrix teams. Prior to that, Saran worked at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in the development and implementation of unit and hospital initiatives to improve patient experience metrics linked to reimbursement and quality measure improvement.

Saran holds a BA in political science and international studies from Towson University and an MS in management and public relations from University of Maryland University College
